Terms of Service

These terms apply to the use of Guildforge (website and mobile app). The service is provided by the operator of Guildforge (see Legal notice). By signing up you accept these terms, the game rules and the privacy policy.

1. The service

Guildforge is a free online strategy game, playable in a browser and in a mobile app. An internet connection is required.

2. Registration and account

• You must be at least 16 to sign up; younger players may only play with the consent of a parent or guardian.
• Your account is personal: it cannot be transferred or sold. You are responsible for keeping your password secret.
• You can delete your account at any time (Delete account).

3. Virtual items

Resources, units, villages, premium points and other items earned in the game are virtual: they are tied to the account, cannot be exchanged for money, and are not your property. Nothing can be bought for real money at the moment; if a paid service starts, these terms will be extended first.

4. Conduct and sanctions

Players follow the game rules. For violations the operator may warn, restrict the account (mute), remove offending content, or exclude the player temporarily or permanently.

5. Availability

The operator aims for continuous operation but gives no guarantee: the game may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, errors or development. World settings (speed, victory condition) may change to keep the game balanced.

6. Liability

You use the game at your own risk. The operator is not liable for in-game losses (such as a lost village or army), nor for what players say to each other; unlawful content is removed once reported.

7. Intellectual property

The game's software and own content are the operator's intellectual property and may not be copied or distributed without permission. Third-party content (such as the public-domain paintings) may be used under its own terms.

8. Data protection

Personal data is handled as described in the privacy policy.

9. Changes, complaints, law

The operator may change these terms and announces important changes in the game in advance. Complaints and questions go to Support. These terms are governed by Hungarian law.
